MDRI’s recent publication accepted on highly-ranked international journal

Dr. Phung Duc Tung and Dr. Nguyen Viet Cuong from Mekong Development Research Institute (co-authoring with Prof. Daniel Westbrook, Georgetown University, Washington, D.C., USA, and at Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service in Qatar) have recently had their paper accepted at the Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance in 2014.

The paper, namely “Do the Poorest Ethnic Minorities Benefit from a Large-Scale Poverty Reduction Program? Evidence from Vietnam” provides empirical evidence of such poverty reduction program’s impacts on the beneficiaries.
