The project of “Improved business through seasonal forecasting for coffee in Vietnam” (WeFoCos) has a goal to provide tailored seasonal climate forecasting system and a set of associated decision support tools for coffee farmers. These solutions will not only enhance the profitability of current farming systems but also improve their climate change resilience and environmental sustainability. The baseline survey of 400 households was coordinated by CIAT and RTA in 2019, and the RTWork app was disseminated to farmers with the assistance of MDRI in 2021 during a midline survey.
The endline survey, conducted with 300 coffee farming households in Dak Lak and Lam Dong from the WeFoCoS baseline survey in 2019, is to measure farmers’ perception of the RTWork app’s usefulness, as well as changes in climate adaptation of farm practices.
Main task:
- Interview the relevant household members using the RTA survey application
- Provide basic cleaning and quality control of the data
- Deliver dataset
- Prepare data report and fieldwork report
