Engaging Ethnic Minority Women Groups For Contributing Their Views To The Country Report

Overview

This project aims at supporting Vietnam in producing the first Vietnam Voluntary National Review (VNR) that
will be submitted for review during the United Nations High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) 2018.
This will also provide input for the first SDG report of Vietnam. To accomplish this task, the project incorporates views and
opinions of the “left-behind” EM women on progress and challenges they have experienced in achieving SDGs.

Main tasks:
• Review documents related to the VNR and SDG reporting provided by the UN and relevant parties;
• Recommend EM women groups to be selected for consultation;
• Design a framework to get the views and opinions of these groups on the process of assessment and evaluation of SDGs. Implement the double data entry;
• Present findings from the consultations and recommend the UNDP for future engagement of other vulnerable groups.
