Mekong Development Research Institute (MDRI) partnered with Landell Mills Limited (LML), a renowned global development consulting firm, to carry out the evaluation of the long-term development cooperation between the UK and Vietnam.
The study will provide insight into the UK’s development assistance to Vietnam over the last 20 years, assess the impact of the UK’s contribution to Vietnam’s poverty reduction progress, and examine the relevance, effectiveness, and sustainability of the supporting approaches. The research will provide important lessons and policy recommendations on development cooperation for both Vietnam and its development partners. These lessons will be shared with other countries and disseminated to international development organizations to increase the effectiveness of global aid.
