Dang Huyen Trang is a research analyst who graduated with an MA degree in Economics from the University of Tsukuba under the prestigious ADB-Japan Scholarship Program. Prior to joining MDRI, Trang had obtained solid skills in project implementation and database management by working as a researcher in both domestic and international settings. Trang is particularly interested in doing research on poverty reduction, agriculture, and rural development. At MDRI, she has involved in projects covering diverse development themes, ranging from organisation capacity assessment to impact evaluation of poverty reduction programs. As an adventure-driven person, Trang enjoys doing fieldwork as much as she enjoys climbing mountains and exploring novel places. She is also a mandolin player who was a member of a university musical band in Tsukuba, Japan.
