Profile
Pham Thi Huong received an MSc in International Cooperation Policy from the Graduate School of Asia Pacific Studies at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Japan in 2016. Huong is interested in conducting research on labor and employment, productivity, and public policy. She was a Researcher at Viet Nam Economic and Policy Research (VEPR) and an Economic Analyst at Viet Nam – Korea Science and Technology Institute (VKIST) before becoming a Research Analyst at MDRI in March 2022. By joining MDRI, she got a chance to work in several development projects in poverty reduction, education, etc., and engage deeply in the process of conducting research, especially in fieldwork implementation.
Huong was a co-author of the book “VIET NAM PRODUCTIVITY REPORT Identifying growth challenges and exploring a way forward” (2021) and the co-contributor of Chapter 3, “Characteristics of Viet Nam Labor Productivity in the Progress of International Economic Integration” (2018 Viet Nam Annual Economic Report, VEPR).
